Pacha Massive Profile

Pacha Massive stands as a pioneering force in the global music landscape, recognized for seamlessly fusing traditional Caribbean rhythms with sophisticated electronic textures. Led by Dominican multidisciplinary artist, composer, and producer Nova, the New York-based project achieved a historic milestone as the first US-based signing to the prestigious Nacional Records.

This evolution follows Nova’s foundational tenure as a touring member and producer for King Changó on David Byrne’s Luaka Bop, as well as being the first multilingual electronica artist signed to Aztlan Records—the inaugural US label dedicated to alternative Latin music.

The project’s signature sound has garnered significant commercial and critical acclaim, featuring prominently in major media including EA Sports’ FIFA, HBO’s Entourage, and films such as The Heartbreak Kid. Beyond the studio, Pacha Massive has commandingly occupied the global stage, performing at Madison Square Garden and the Austin City Limits Music Festival while sharing lineups with icons like Morcheeba, Bomba Estéreo, and Los Amigos Invisibles. As MTV Tr3s’ debut “Descubre and Download” artist, the project continues to define the evolution of Latin electronic fusion through high-profile collaborations and a boundary-defying discography.
